Legora pricing: What does it cost legal teams in 2026?

This guide covers everything available publicly on Legora pricing, points out what remains private, and sets out how Legora compares with LEGALFLY for in-house legal teams.

Legora does not publish a public rate card. In June 2026, it introduced consumption-based pricing alongside Agent Pro, its product for more complex agentic legal work. Its standard Agent remains available to existing customers.

Legora also publishes separate consumption-based pricing terms. According to those terms, customers pay a recurring Platform Fee plus Credits, with the details of Credit purchases, consumption, and billing set out in the customer’s individual agreement. Legora does not share a standard Platform Fee, price per Credit, Credit allocation, or task-by-task Credit cost.

For an in-house team, you need to know: What is the fixed cost, what drives additional spend, and how predictable will that spend be?

LEGALFLY uses a different commercial model and a more hands-on approach. Core legal users have full licences, business teams can use Collaborator Access at 50% of the standard seat price, and automated workflows are usage based. Legal engineers work closely with customers to configure workflows, playbooks, approvals, and integrations around how their legal team really operates.

How does Legora pricing work in 2026?

Under Legora’s consumption-based costs, the pricing model has two components.

Cost

How it works

Platform fee

Recurring fee for access to Legora.

Credits

Usage-based charges. How many Credits different tasks use, and what each Credit costs, are agreed privately.

The public information stops there.

What is reported on Legora pricing?

The Financial Times reported in June 2026 that Legora customers were paying around $100,000 a year on average. This came before it added consumption pricing.

A Reddit buyer evaluating Legora for around 50 users said that its unlimited quote was €300 per user per month, or €180,000 a year.

How do Legora Credits work?

Legora introduced Credits alongside Agent Pro, which it describes as able to ‘plan, execute, review, and deliver complex legal work end-to-end.’

For customers on Legora’s consumption-based model, Credits measure chargeable AI usage. Legora has not published a conversion such as ‘one contract review = X Credits’ or ‘one Credit = €X’.

Can you track and control Legora spend?

Legora says customers on its consumption model can track usage in real time by organisation, user, or project.

Administrators can also set spending thresholds and controls and receive notifications before limits are reached. Legora provides forecasting tools to help estimate future consumption.

Why did Legora move to consumption pricing?

Legora introduced the model alongside Agent Pro as legal AI became more agentic.

Its explanation is that complex, multi-stage work can consume much more computing power than lighter tasks. Consumption pricing lets cost vary with the amount and type of work being carried out, rather than charging every user the same flat amount.

What does Legora Portal cost?

Portal lets organisations give selected internal and external users access to parts of Legora.

Under Legora's current terms:

  • External users: no additional fee or Credit consumption up to the External User Cap agreed with Legora.

  • External users above the cap: separate commercial terms may be agreed. Legora cannot charge for them automatically.

  • Internal users: Portal usage consumes Credits at the same rates as other usage covered by the consumption model.

Employees in Sales, Procurement, HR, Compliance, or Finance are internal users, so extending Portal access across the business can increase Credit consumption.

Does consumption pricing mean unlimited users?

No. Users still have individual accounts. Legora's terms require each end user to have their own account.

What happens if you use more Credits than expected?

Legora does not publish a standard top-up price. Additional Credit purchases, pricing, and billing depend on the commercial terms agreed with the customer.

What happens to unused Credits?

Legora does not publish a standard rollover policy. Its consumption-based terms say prepaid Credits are generally non-refundable, while the treatment of unused or committed Credits depends on the terms agreed with the customer.

LEGALFLY: Legal AI platform made for in-house counsel

The economics change when legal AI is used beyond the legal team. An enterprise legal department may support hundreds or thousands of employees across Procurement, Sales, HR, Finance, and Compliance, all with legal questions, reviews, and requests.

With LEGALFLY, business users can access legal support through controlled workflows, while routine requests are handled using Legal’s own playbooks, rules, approvals, and escalation thresholds. Lawyers or legal professionals step in where judgement is required, rather than acting as the entry point for every request.

LEGALFLY’s legal engineers support setup, workflow configuration, and ongoing use.

What do in-house teams get from LEGALFLY compared to Legora?

Both platforms cover the core legal AI capabilities an in-house team needs, including contract review, drafting, research, bulk analysis, regulatory monitoring, and agentic workflows.

The bigger difference is how they operate. LEGALFLY is built around getting legal work from request to outcome across the wider business, with business-user access, governed workflows, legal engineering, and pre-processing anonymisation built into that model.

Contract review and bulk analysis

Legora supports contract review and drafting through its Word Add-in and playbooks. Tabular Review lets teams analyse information across large document sets.

LEGALFLY’s Review applies the legal team's playbooks, flags deviations from approved positions, and proposes redlines directly in Word. Multi Review applies playbooks across hundreds of documents and extracts risks, obligations, and key terms into a structured dataset.

LEGALFLY also includes more than 100 pre-built playbooks, alongside the organisation's own rules and standards. See for yourself why we are a top contract review software using AI.

Legal research

Legora Legal Research investigates sources across jurisdictions, ranks them by authority, and verifies findings against primary law. Its coverage includes US federal law and all 50 states, alongside official and licensed sources in other jurisdictions.

LEGALFLY’s Discovery is grounded in verified legal sources across more than 130 jurisdictions. It combines publisher content and more than 500 official sources with the organisation's own documents and policies. It can research, draft, edit documents, and generate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint outputs.

Regulatory monitoring

Legora Monitors scans regulatory sources selected by the customer and lets teams triage developments, assess impact, assign work, and maintain an audit trail.

LEGALFLY’s Legal Radar monitors regulatory change and maps new obligations to the organisation's policies and playbooks. It can test the impact against contracts and policies and flag documents that need updating.

LEGALFLY can then take the work further across the document portfolio. Multi Review can assess hundreds of agreements against the new requirement, while Discovery can make the same specified edit across multiple documents in one step.

Agents and workflows

Legora Agent carries out multi-step legal work using capabilities such as research, document review, and drafting. Agent Pro is designed for complex tasks where the system plans, executes, reviews, and produces the final work product.

LEGALFLY’s Agent Studio governs how repeatable legal work moves through the organisation. A request can arrive through email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, or manual intake. The ready-made workflow will trigger legal agents, apply conditional logic, route follow-ups, and escalate work when defined thresholds are reached.

It works like this:

Request comes in → playbook or rules are applied → relevant legal task runs → exceptions are escalated → Legal approves where required → stakeholder receives the outcome.

Privacy, security, and deployment

LEGALFLY anonymises sensitive information before it is sent to AI models. Names, company details, roles, and other identifiers are pseudonymised locally before model processing. It is also ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certified and undergoes annual independent penetration testing. It supports SaaS, single-tenant, private-cloud, hybrid, and full on-premises deployments.

Legora is ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and SOC 2 Type II certified.

Is Legora worth the cost?

Legora’s consumption model combines a private Platform Fee with Credit-based usage, so total cost depends on how much AI your team uses and how complex that work becomes.

If your goal is getting legal work done from request to outcome across the whole business, LEGALFLY could be a better option.

Core legal users get full access, business teams can use lower-cost Collaborator Access, and repeatable work can run through usage-based workflows. Requests from Sales, Procurement, HR, Compliance, or other teams can trigger your playbooks, legal agents, approvals, and escalation rules automatically.

Legal engineers support implementation and workflow configuration, while the platform connects contract review, drafting, research, regulatory monitoring, and bulk analysis.

Sensitive data can be anonymised before it reaches AI models, and Legal keeps control over the rules and decisions that require judgement.

For in-house teams looking to increase legal capacity without creating another layer of manual intake and administration, in the legal AI market, LEGALFLY does it from request to outcome.
